In Canada REALTORSŪ are members of their local Real Estate Board, a Provincial Association and the Canadian Real Estate Association. This system ensures the highest level of service and that you will always be treated with honesty and integrity. This is backed by the REALTORŪ Code of Ethics.
All licensed REALTORSŪ must stay educated. REALTORSŪ are required to continuously take courses to ensure they are up-to-date on legal issues and other relevant information. REALTORSŪ are registered under provincial laws that govern exactly how real estate trades can and cannot be conducted. These regulations are your legal guarantee to professional behaviour from your REALTORŪ.
